Lisa has been lucky enough to call Wilmington home for most of her life. Her family, originally from the Northeast, relocated to the area in the 1970s. She has seen first- hand how much Wilmington has grown and changed. Even after a couple of relocation moves, the beautiful beaches and salt air called her back!
She graduated from North Carolina State University with a double major in Business Management and Economics and a concentration in Marketing. After school she owned and managed a retail business for many years where she learned that the customer comes first and your workday never truly ends. Later she explored mortgage lending which reinforced her love for working with numbers and contracts. This led Lisa to pursuing her real estate license where she could combine these interests along with creative marketing and the adventure of helping people find their home.
The real estate market experiences frequent changes both nationally and locally. Lisa realizes the importance of staying on top of these changes and strives to participate in continuing education classes and designations. Currently she holds designations as a SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist), RSPS (Resort and Second Home Property Specialist), E Pro (real estate technology and media) and others.
“I believe that success in this business comes from helping people and earning trust and credibility. I will closely listen to the needs of my clients and provide knowledgeable and honest advice throughout their real estate transaction”
Lisa and her husband Sean have three beautiful girls attending middle school, high school and college. They live in the Porters Neck area and enjoy many activities but their favorite is a peaceful day on the boat exploring the area’s beautiful islands.
Tim and his wife Lynn originally hail from the Jersey Shore. After leading a corporate “nomadic life” for many years, they purchased a “USA home-base” in Wilmington in 2005. Wilmington offers a great climate, the ocean, a convenient airport and is midway between their children who reside in NYC, suburban Philadelphia and Florida.
Tim was a Managing Director and International Human Resources Executive with a global Swiss financial institution for over 30 years where he led a variety of human capital initiatives. During his tenure he spent time in New York and over 18 years abroad in Zurich, Switzerland and London, UK. Having personally moved more than 12 times, including several international moves, he has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the issues associated with moving and relocation and the importance of finding the “right” home.
The Gardner’s, along with Rigi their Bernese Mountain Dog, settled in Wilmington full-time in May 2011. Tim holds an undergraduate degree from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA; a certificate from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University, NJ; and successfully completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, MA. He resides in Landfall, and is a member of the Country Club of Landfall, President of the Woodbridge Home Owner’s Association, and a member of the UNC-W Cameron Business School Executive Network.
Neighbour Realty clients will benefit from Tim’s extensive background in customer relations. The company’s primary focus on specialized personal service and knowledge of the local market play to Tim’s strengths. Throughout his career, Tim thrived on meeting new people and facilitating solutions for their needs; similarly, he looks forward to helping clients find their ideal property or strategically market and sell an existing property.

Andrew is originally from Wall Township on the New Jersey shore. In 2002, he moved with his family to Wilmington, North Carolina. After graduating from Emsley A. Laney High School, he attended Cape Fear Community College and received an Associates Degree. He enjoys living in Wilmington and relishes the perfect setting for a healthy lifestyle of working out and being outdoors.
Having a background in service and communications, Andrew decided his next step would be to acquire his real estate license. He thinks providing the most personable and professional service is vital to this industry, and is committed to give his full attention to serving his client’s needs.
My wife Meredith and I moved to Wilmington in 2003 from the west coast. Although I’m a 5th generation Oregonian and Meredith is from Napa Valley, California, Wilmington is our home and we love it here! And what’s not to love? There’s fascinating area history, the gorgeous beaches, an amazing music scene, not to mention the arts, and the list goes on and on.
As an Oregonian I majored in Communications at Oregon State University. In 1979 my wife and I bought our first home and soon discovered a knack for buying unloved homes and bringing them to life. This inevitably led to my career in real estate.
In 2004 I got my North Carolina real estate license and went to work, with a focus on the Porters Neck area where we live. In 2005 I achieved my NC Brokers License and in 2007 was certified GRI, (Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute). My sales volume is consistently in the top 15% of all REALTORS® in the Wilmington Association and in 2009 was in the top 9%.
Photography has been a passion of mine for over 30 years and I’ve had extensive training in that field. Since 2006 over 80% of buyers surveyed said they saw the home they purchased on-line before they walked inside, and that number continues to rise. Photography is more important than ever. To make a home stand out from competition typical agent-shot photos aren’t good enough anymore. I’ve specialized in a kind of “showcase” video since 2006 for on-line and MLS viewing. These videos prepare buyers for a positive first hand experience and a more likely offer for the seller.
We at Neighbour Realty have a shared mission of providing superior personal service with expert knowledge of our local area and inventory. I’m very proud to be affiliated with such a fine company. My promise to all clients and customers is service at a higher standard.
